How it all started...
LifePointe started out as a group of 25 people, who came to Rusty and Angie Thomas seeking them to plant a church here in Sedalia. On July 16th, 2011, the people voted to have LifePointe become a live church. We started out at Liberty Park, and then moved to a Best Western meeting room, then to a warehouse building, then to the Kim Original's building, and then onto the building we currently own due to our growth from 25 people to around 1,000+ over the years.
Expanding the vision...
Our vision is to know God and make God known by sharing the Gospel, equipping people to lead their family, and defending those in need. We also are passionate about equipping people for church revitalization.
Where we are headed...
We believe our story is a unique one, and more importantly, we are confident that our future will be shaped by our continued passion for reaching people who are far from God and helping those in relationship with Him grow stronger in their faith. That’s why we’re excited to be expanding into Warsaw, Missouri, adding a new campus to better serve and connect with the people in that community. As our church family continues to grow, this new step allows us to extend our reach and create more opportunities for life change.
